Day 1 Running for a purpose

So...Day 1.  Ok, technically I started on Monday but didn't put a blog together until today.  I'm really hoping that making myself update everyday will hold me accountable.  Right now my weight (as of the last time I weighed myself) was at 186 lbs.  My goal is to get to 120 lbs.  If I give myself 1 year to do this, that will average me at 1.2 lbs per week.  Completely doable as long as I stick to it!  Right now I'm running a few days a week doing 60 seconds of running and 90 seconds of walking.  I'm also consuming 1200-1500 calories per day as well as about 100 oz. of water.  If you have heard of C25K you know what I'm talking about.  Eventually once I get my stamina back up I would like to start doing p90x with my husband again as well.

My 2.5 month old son will be starting to move soon so I want to have the energy to chase after him!  Thanks for reading and I'm hoping a year from now I will be able to tell you mission accomplished!
